“Shooting is one thing, aesthetics is another thing. Always remember that doing wedding photography is not about the photographer, it’s about the wedding, the couple, the clients. We still have to give what they want, and not force what we want unto them. We may pitch an idea here and there, and if they are up to it, we start off from there. Clients’ personalities vary from one to the other, and as a photographer, I have to find a common ground to infuse their personalities with my art. In the end, the final photo should be about their story.” – Jervy So Santiago –
“walk by faith, not by sight” 2 Cor. 5:7

Jervy Santiago.. my batchmate from St. Jude Catholic School since grade school.. will always look at him as this silly little boy, sometimes obnoxious, but always funny.
The outstanding success that this man has achieved in life is unbelievably impressive! His talent, from the photos I’ve seen, is remarkable. Some of the shoots he made are of my old friends, and their facial expressions on these photos, along with the carefully chosen artistic backgrounds, almost distinctly define each individual’s personality.
Jervy, thank you for being an inspiration to all of us, your friends. I am absolutely sure that you have left a permanent mark on the wedded couples’ lives, making their special moment extraordinarily memorable.
Wishing you the very best of luck and more power to you!
