I’m pretty confident that these photos weren’t taken on their wedding day :P Mostly just because it seems like there’s too much work going into it for it to be only a few hours worth of shooting. More likely it’s a pre-wedding thing done with the photographer – or even post-wedding. It’d give you some awesome photos to put on the invites or thankyou cards :) Wonder if I can convince my boyfriend to marry me so we can do something like this lol

I have always been a fan of the zombie genre. This looks like a fun ol time for all involved, though i would hate to see how my grandmother would react if this is what they saw coming to the wedding. Guns and ammo at the door (fake I hope, in case untold guests go into shock). I can’t think of a funner way to liven up an otherwise dull day, yes, I do think traditional weddings can be dull (and I am a woman). I always liked to idea of a murder mystery wedding but this is even better!

I jokingly asked my girl about this and she said if I wanted to keep my left testicle I would shut up about zombies since they’re just “a fad”. Good luck to you guys….

I have always been a big fan of the zombie genre, and I am going on 26 now, so I don’t think it is a fad… well least not for me. Love those black & white movies and the new stuff, like the Walking Dead. I am also a woman btw. This looks like great fun; I need to keep it in mind if ever…. haha

This is more Dawn Of The Dead than Left 4 Dead. Where are the Boomers, Chargers, Smokers, Jockeys, Witches, and Tanks? Oh My!
Great pictures btw! Love the scenery.

      Wow…these pictures are AMAZING.

Totally raw, really visceral zombie action in those images.

This should be made into a film!

trashing the wedding dress is a usual thing? it aint where i come from
dont they cost thousands of dollars
is this an america only thing again, sounds like it

      2 – jezzarisky @ilos
      19 Feb 2011 11:58 AM
It’s not even American, it sounds like a specific area of America. I’ve never known anyone around where I live that does that sort of thing.

      3 – Squirrelbot3000 @ilos
      19 Feb 2011 12:47 PM
I’d wager they probably bought a second-hand wedding dress that looked decent on her from a Goodwill or Salvation Army locale.

      4 – Blah8 @ilos
      19 Feb 2011 4:19 PM
The article says that the photographer is based out of Manila, which is the capitol of the Philippines. Thus, I’d assume this is taking place somewhere around there.

      5 – MetalZombie @ilos
      20 Feb 2011 2:35 AM
ilos, it’s definitely not an American thing, women here can get down right obsessive about their dress, they work very hard all day at not getting it dirty and when it’s all said and done they have it cleaned and packed away in all it’s pristine glory, to rarely to ever see the light of day again. Besides as someone already pointed out it does say the photographer is from Manila.

To pull off that kind of photoshoot for a wedding, this couple is probably well off although it could also be that the dress is not really that expensive. I can’t say if that’s American though. The photos most likely came from the Philippines, which is widely American-ized region.

Actually the ‘trash the dress’ photos are very common in Canada and the U.S.A.

Women usually take the photos they really want but were afraid would ruin their dress, after the wedding. For example, a bride might have a picture of her sitting in the sand on the beach or laying down in the grass. Perhaps the photographer will get shots of the bride painting a house or something else equally damaging to her dress. It’s all in the name of art and memory.

To all these people talking about how crazy this is and how insane it is to ruin your dress, the memories created from this photo shoot will not only last a life-time, but will be amazing conversation topics when family and friends come over.

This is far superior to standard photo shoots of the couple standing in front of a fucking tree.

  13. Ummmmm. This is the freaking AWESOME!
    Wow.

  14. What an incredible concept! Genius! Congrats!

  15. Now where’s the LIKE button here? :D WICKEDLY AWESOME! ^^v

  16. Excelsior!

Seriously, there should be a “Like” or a “Fave” button here somewhere.

  17. *hands down* I’m so liking this!~

  18. A bit close for [The 3rd Birthday]-themed wedding, zombies instead of the Twisted.

  19. SUPERB!!!!

  20. nice i apreciate this prenup

  21. Awesome!!!!! One of the best ideas for a wedding photoshoot ever! So inspiring!
    :)

  22. Om freaking g! Best trash the dress i have ever seen!!!! I LOVE it!!!! Well done

  23. Engagement photography is normally something I detest but perhaps I will consider this kind of theme when / if it happens.

  24. *nicely done…asteeeg! (this explains the ‘dining-with-zomb shot’ in your friendster account.) ^^
    may video version ba to?

    • facebook darling.. not friendster! hehehehe. thanks!!

  25. Meh!

  26. Hi, I just read texts on your blog and I became interested in the topic. I love your site and I am thinking whether I could use your entries in my work? Might it be possible? If yes, please contact with me.Thank you.

    • sure! :)

  27. great shoot! excellent work! a few inconsistencies tho.. at one scene, the guy is ahooting at the zombies, you dont get muzzle flashes (fire like effect from the gun) when you are using a suppressor, plus his fingers arent even in the trigger, also the chicks gun (gorgeous chick btw) is using a very small version of m4 and u dont put a magnified scope with that. :) and lastly, in the scene where they’re both running, the guy is just now carrying his pistol and the m4 is nowehere to be found but in the next scenes, his m4 is back :) but theyre just minor errors for the part of the continuity and “realism” but as far as the quality of the shoot is concerned.. excellent job sirs/maams :D kudos! :)

  28. we’re impressed, i must say. really rarely do i encounter a portal that’s both enlightening and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have a good shot in the arm. your idea is acceptable and thought provoking; the point is that not enough folks are speaking intelligelibly of. i am very happy that i came across this in my search for something relating to this.

    • Hi Rosanna!
thank you so much, i really appreciate your message. :)

watch out for our next .. “Archie and Friend’s” photo shoot, not the usual “cut-out, copy-paste” thing.. im getting an illustrator to do the comic characters, and id like to see the interaction of the characters with the couple, this is fun. :)

  29. hi.. hw much is your rate.. we have the concept of our prenup shot.. and i think this has never been done in prenup photgraphy.. please do email me.. thanks

    • That’s great news! that’s the type of challenge that we wanna engage to :)
We’re more than willing to discuss and brainstorm with your concept.
      Thanks!

  30. I’m a sucker for a zombie wedding shoot. Fantastic stuff!

    That dress served her well!

  31. Wrote this beneficial object.I had to spend a little time to get your site but it really was well worth the issues. Possibly I would be able to apply Google somewhat far better. Anyhow When i run away via the topic of astrology as well as astrological readings. Thanks again as well as happy blogs.

  32. wow! It looks like a big production… Your creations inspire me to retire early and be a photographer!!

  33. Dress styles go out of style but I don’t think zombies ever will. This is the most insane wedding shoot I’ve ever seen. No one will ever be able to call the bride and groom a boring couple after this one. Great work!

  34. Love your vision…we are having a zombie wedding next year…but we will be zombies…not the hunters…we only hope to find someone as talented as you to share our final vision…and to capture the moment as intended…awesome work!

  35. @ Mike Lewis – yeah, wish i can do that for you. :)
    Thanks Norm and PB! :)
